The pentagram in the oils by Karen Shahverdyan
[8 November 2009]We are very happy to present a very special highlight at the end of the year in our galerie g. Since a few years the artist Karen Shahverdyan, born 1969 in Armenia, has dealt with the subject of the pentagram. For him this sign has a very important meaning. It is a perfect sign according mathematics (thinking of the "golden section"), according aesthetics and it`s representativeness from the beginning of the Stone-age.
In our exhibition "pentagramm....." exclusive and for the first time ever we present 11 oil paintings, which realize this subject of the pentagram on very different points of view of the artist and this in a very high levelled and perfect technique. We are happy to meet you the 21. November 2009, 5pm until 21pm or during our opening hours until the 23rd of December for viewing this exhibition.
