*1948 in Vienna

Studied Grafic-Design at the "American University" in Washington D.C. and at the University of Arts in Berlin under Professor Spohn.
He worked three years as a designer in advertising agencies. This was followed by studies at the HfBK Hamburg in visuelle kommunikation under Prof. Roscher. The same time he sudied Psychology at Hamburg University. 1980 he got a scholarship of the DAAD at the department for motion pictures of the "New York University" USA. Since 1981 he writes and produces films for television and cinema. 1996 he arranged himself a studio in Lüchow-Dannenberg and since then he intensively applies himself to painting.

The artist himself: „At first place I am a painter. A Painting with one view can realize so many things, where usually many words are needed.“
