Georg Pusenkoff was born in 1953 in Krasnopolje. In 1968 his family moves to Moskow. Two final degrees characterize his artistic development. In 1976 he finished his first academic study at the Moscow Technical University for Informatics. Seven years later, in 1983 his second degree follows at the Moscow Academy for Polygraphic Design. Since 1983 he took part in numerous exhibitions as there are: Art & Pixel, Espace Ernst Hilger, Paris (2001), Mona Lisa goes Russia, Heidelberger Kunstverein, Heidelberg (2002), Mona Lisa Journeys, State Tretjakow Gallery, Moscow (2004), Between Digital and Analog, Sacral and Profan, 1. Biennale of Contemporary Art, Moscow (2005), La condition humaine (1:1), Kunstmuseum Bochum, Bochum (2008).

Georg Pusenkoff lives and works in Cologne. His art could be identified by a complete own pictorial technique. At the first moment his paintings take an effect like "computer-pictures". Their aesthetic is a very special one. In every single work his manual aptitude is getting obvious. To copy famous persons and to capture them as an art excerpt, belongs to his central element.
