The Galerie "G" proudly presents the exhibition "SOFA(m)ART(ie)" at the SOFA 3 in Heidelberg. We present a selection of paintings and sculptures of the last three centuries. The showrooms of the furniture store will be a perfect location to show how high quality art can create a more agreeable living atmosphere within your home.

Please notice, that the exhibition runs in the showrooms of SOFA3, Kurfürstenanlage 3, 69115 Heidelberg. Opening hours of SOFA3: Monday, 3 pm - 7 pm, Tuesday until Friday, 10.30 am - 7 pm and Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm.

antique & artfair düsseldorf, 16th until 20th of February 2011

After our very successfully participation in 2010 we are happy to meet you again at the antique & artfair düsseldorf from the 16th until the 20th of February 2011, Wednesday until Saturday from 11am-8pm and Sunday 11am - 6pm, Messe Düsseldorf, Hall 8a, Entrance North P2 at our boot C36.

Again and for the fourth time Galerie G presents at the antique & artfair düsseldorf. It starts with our traditional art, the Wildlife Art. Two outstanding lion-oil paintings by the worldfamous animal-artist from the beginning of the 20th century Wilhelm Kuhnert will be our special highlight of this artfair.

Furthermore, there will be a focus on the contemporary figurative artists as Sonja Edle von Hoeßle, Karen Shahverdyan, Johannes Nawrath, Jan Peter Kranig, Hieronymus Proske, Hilla Wolf-Wagner, Bernhard Vogel and new: Andreas Kurus, Jesus Miguel Rodriguez de la Torre and the sculptor Herbert Mehler. With the works by exceptionally talented artists from the Düsseldorf Art Academy Alexander Besel and Joanna Jesse the wide range of high quality will be completed.

Go to the link above and find out more! From December 1st, 2010 we will be represented online on eBay under the name of Galerie-G-Kunsttresor with our own shop as well as with auction offers.

In more than 40 years the Galerie G has developed to that what it represents now. We have grown and built up a large stock of artworks. To concentrate ourselves on our core business and to make our storage "walkable" again, we decided to sell about 500 artworks on eBay in the next forthcoming months. And this is your chance! We will be put our limits very generously!

Our main focus lies on:

1. Wildlife-art with the three following significant painters and graphic artists: Norbertine von Bresslern-Roth, Wilhelm Kuhnert and Manfred Schatz. We will always be uncompromised to this genre. You can rely on our skills and expertise.

2. We support contemporary art. Currently we are working with 15 contemporary artists. In this respect it is a matter of talent with an excellent education at the well-known art academies. These painters concentrate themselves on figurative painting and produce artworks of high quality.

The "clever" ones, who keep their eyes peeled, will be able to succeed in buying one of our highlights, which will be set up from time to time in our ebay-shop. We want to keep the eBay-hunt thrilling.

Three contemporary artists will be presented: Alexander Besel, Joanna Jesse - with a selection of oil paintings - and the sculptor Hilla Wolf-Wagner.
