After our very successfully participation in 2009 we are happy to meet you again at the antique & artfair düsseldorf from the 3rd until the 7th of February 2010, Wednesday until Saturday from 11am-8pm, Thursday from 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am - 6pm, Messe Düsseldorf, Hall 8a, Entrance North P2 at our boot C36.

Again Galerie G presents at the antique & artfair düsseldorf. It starts with our traditional art, the Wildlife Art. Works by the worldfamous animal-artists Wilhelm Kuhnert and Manfred Schatz will be presented. The contemporary artists Alexander Besel, Sonja Edle von Hoessle, Joanna Jesse, Jan Peter Kranig, Johannes Nawrath, Hieronymus Proske, Claudia Steiger, Hilla Wolf-Wagner and Bernhard Vogel complete the wide range of high quality and make the choices for the visitor perfect. A special highlight will be the presenting of oils by Karen Shahverdyan from his new series of the topic "pentagramm .....".

The pentagram in the oils by Karen Shahverdyan

We are very happy to present a very special highlight at the end of the year in our galerie g. Since a few years the artist Karen Shahverdyan, born 1969 in Armenia, has dealt with the subject of the pentagram.  For him this sign has a very important meaning. It is a perfect sign according mathematics (thinking of the "golden section"), according aesthetics and it`s representativeness from the beginning of the Stone-age.

In our exhibition "pentagramm....." exclusive and for the first time ever we present 11 oil paintings, which realize this subject of the pentagram on very different points of view of the artist and this in a very high levelled and perfect technique. We are happy to meet you the 21. November 2009, 5pm until 21pm or during our opening hours until the 23rd of December for viewing this exhibition.

It`s the first time we take part at the ART & ANTIQUEFAIR MUNICH. We show a selection of our repertoire of representational art from the 19th until the 21st century. Since the foundation in 1967, the Galerie G has specialized on Wildlife-Art. Fine oils, watercolours, linocuts and drawings by the worldfamous animal-artists Wilhelm Kuhnert (1865 Oppeln - 1926 Flims), Norbertine von Bresslern-Roth (1891-1978 Graz) and Manfred Schatz (1925 Bad Stepenitz - 2004 Meerbusch) will be presented to the Munich audience.

Alexander Besel - figurative, emotional and unvarnished

We are happy to present the art of Alexander Besel. Born 1971 in Kirghizia the artist has experienced a very good education such as master-class pupil of professor Jörg Immendorff at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf as well as found his own style with a high recognition value in the early 90ies. Mimetic reproduction that alienates, irritates and forces the viever to get into dialogue with the artist because he skilfully guides us into the world from his point of view.

At the beginning of July 2010 we are planning an exhibition with Alexander Besel and Joanna Jesse.

Manfred Schatz - The work of a lifetime
The first time Galerie Goosmann and Galerie G present together a large retrospective of the famous animal painter Manfred Schatz. At Galerie Goosmann in Bad Bergzabern there will be shown particularly chosen highlights of the estate of the artist: From the early painted landscapes to the threedimensional animalportraitures, from the early coalstudy to the largesized oilpainting.
